SACES is pleased to launch the third edition of a series of site visits.

In collaboration with iAS, we have managed to secure nine different locations ranging from visits related to conservation, steel fabrication, geotechnical engineering, construction, and factory visits.

The site visits are as follows:

Conservation:

13/03/23 - Maritime Museum

Site/ Factory Visits:

09/03/23 - New Faculty (1st & 3rd yr BSc)

10/03/23 – New Faculty (2nd yr BSc)

13/03/23 - The Quad

16/03/23 - E & L Steel Factory

30/03/23 - Mercury Tower

23/03/23 - Attard Brothers Plant

27/03/23 - Regina, Sliema

06/04/23 – Verdala

Steel Design / Geotechnical Engineering:

(suitable for 2nd Yr B.Sc and up)

06/03/23 - Smart Supermarket (Geotechnical)

All visits will take place between 14:00 and 16:00

Kindly apply through the link below, selecting your first to fifth preferences in 5 different multiple-choice questions. Depending on the response received, students may be able to attend more than one site visit, based on a first-come, first-served basis according to your selected preferences. Once the groups for the site visits are organized, a number of groupchats will be created for further information regarding your allocated visit/s.

Safety attire for these visits is MANDATORY – meaning that all students attending any of the visits must show up with their safety helmet, high-vis (vest), and safety shoes. Should you require any equipment needed for these visits, kindly contact any SACES member.
